Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani has been an extremely popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the wealthiest and most successful. He was a member of Shottas together with another vocalist Wyclef. Ky-Mani got signed to Shang Records in 1996 where he released his first album like Father Like Son. He recorded a variety of singles like Judge Not With Patra as well as Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts), the Who the Cap Fit Remix and Sensimelia. The majority of them contributed to his growing popularity with the young generation of reggae artists. Ky-Mani joined forces with Praswell from Fugees to perform Electric Avenue from Eddy Grant. The song became a massive hit in 1997. Marley was a part of the Midem performance (an international music festival), which was first performed in Miami. Marley performed a set live in the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcasted by Caribbean News Agency across 36 countries. Marley found himself engaged in a bidding war.
